Indians knew how to do things right. Homosexuality? Cool. Don't like your gender? Go ahead and change it, we'll all update your pronouns. And you'd better use every last part of that buffalo, son!

Oh dear. Now I must decide between two songs for the weirdest song I've heard on the radio.
The first is about a girl who douses herself in perfume before seeing her boyfriend so the other woman will smell it on him.
And the second begins as such:
I was five and he was six
We rode horses made of sticks
He wore black and I wore white
He would always win the fight
Bang bang, he shot me down, bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, he shot me down, bang bang, my baby shot me down.
And then goes into nonsense dubstep. Like those are the only decipherable lyrics and they're sung all dramatically.

It's Christie's very first animation! Say hi to the people, Chri--

Well, I suppose that's just Christie for you.
I know it's a little jerky but it's my first time animating anything at all and I really just wanted to see if I could do it.

And by the way, is this the heavy drinkers club or just my mother's heritage? Oh wait, it's both...

Look, Christie, it's your big brother.
"Stop calling me that. And someone get him out of there. I don't wanna hafta haul his drunk ass home."

Pasta is a stress-relieving food and pizza lowers the risk of cancer. This is why Italians are so freaking happy all the time.

What makes me kind of sad is that stuffed animals didn't come about until the late 19th century so most countries wouldn'tve had a teddy bear or the like as a child.

I still think that the leaders of each side of a war should play chess instead of having random people kill each other. Sure, if one leader is bad at chess they're sure to lose, but in reality if one leader is bad at warfare they're bound to lose.

Someone should make a website that's a complete catalog of world history. So the home page would be like, a map of the world in the modern day. Then you could enter a year and the map becomes a map of the world in that year (maybe anywhere from the Roman Empire days to now). Select a continent from a drop-down list and you zoom in on the map of that continent. Click on a country and you get a little pop-up/page of what was going on in that country during that year. And you could choose to have it in either a textbook format or something like a newspaper. That seems like an interesting idea.
(If it were a Hetalia-based website it could also link you to certain strips/parts of episodes relevant to what was going on at the time, e.g. if you were to click on Austria or Prussia during the War of the Austrian Succession, it would bring up the Maria Theresa strips or the two episodes covering that.)

It seems like a really good tool to have on the internet. It could be a way to learn more about history in specific countries or a good history study tool. I need to tell this to the world. It would take a lot of people a long time to make, but in the end I think it'd be worth it. They could start with the previous year and go backwards, and every time a year passes they could just throw on a quick update. And like, they could assign one person to each country so the work is more spread out.

I realize now how attached I've become. I just saw a picture of Latvia crying and holding a very sharp knife and I just...my heart...I had to scroll away before I started crying...

I love this picture though because it's like. He's just. His face is like.
"MR. PUFFIN."
"HAD BABIES."
"WHAT DO I DO."
"BIG BROTHER."
"HELP ME WHAT DO I DO NOW."
"DO I TAKE CARE OF THEM ALL NOW OR."
"BIG BROTHER HELP ME."

Last night I dreamed that Hungary collapsed unconscious in the middle of some gathering. Everyone was standing around her trying to figure out what happened. They said she didn't have a fever but she looked like she did. She was sweating. Someone suggested a problem with her back, but I said, "She's so young, she's too young." She looked so vulnerable lying there...All my instincts were screaming at me what to do but dream paralysis had me just sit there until the scene changed. I can't forget how het face looked though.

I'm worried about Ukraine-chan. I really am.
Dissent, violence, and now Russia is invading her home? And we're quite possibly escalating into a world war? Poor girl! She must be so stressed out. I wish I could talk to her.
I really hope she doesn't die.
She's the best part of that family. She's so sweet.
I really, really hope she doesn't die.

Thank you, Denmark, for not only being the southernmost--and therefore wimpiest about cold--Nordic country, but also the only one whose blood runs through my veins, therefore cutting me off from the natural blood warmth everyone else in this area seems to have and making it impossible for me to go outside in January.

I love stains, scars, scratches, worn bits. They all show that life has happened.
